EKU SBDC Success Story: Artfully Yours Art Studio

Artfully Yours Art Studio, located in Richmond, KY is a fun and creative experience for people of all ages. Owner Stefanie Ashley is proud to open her studio for business after experiencing a successful private event for close colleagues and friends.

Ashley said, "Artfully Yours allows customers to experience a creative and unique enriching opportunity to connect with themselves, family, friends, and colleagues. Blending colors, painting, and the act of artistic expression can be calming and meditative, providing an opportunity to relax, reflect, and revitalize. Lasting memories and meaningful connections are also created in addition to the physical art piece."

Ashley stated that her studio has had a successful start. Opening weekend was a huge success with nearly 100 people in attendance at the open house and painting session. Artfully Yours has received their first booking for a private party, a big step for the business. Ashley said that the EKU SBDC has been a tremendous asset in the planning of her business. Michael Rodriguez, Director and Management Consultant of the Center, provided assistance with how to acquire a loan, tax information, and providing her information in a format the bank needed. "I felt supported through every step of the process," she commented. Ashley will always consider the EKU SBDC a valuable resource adding that the office is a great "connector" of people and businesses, helping others to form partnerships and lasting business relationships.

Located in the Heritage Place Shopping Center across from the Richmond Centre, Artfully Yours Art Studio offers a different painting per session with classes for children and adults.
