Eastern Kentucky University's Center for Economic
Development, Entrepreneurship and Technology's (CEDET) work involves
several focus areas:
- Entrepreneurship training and the development
of an entrepreneurial culture
- Kentucky's new economy through the Department
of Commercialization Innovation
- Artisan and Tourism-related economic development
- Public-Private Partnerships
CEDET works to promote economic development in economically distressed
areas utilizing university resources. Interdisciplinary teams of
EKU faculty, staff, and students work on projects that promote economic
development. Our work is not restricted to the focus areas listed
above.
