The EKU College of Business and Technology, The Center for Rural Development, the Kentucky Highlands Investment Corporation, Berea College Entrepreneurship for the Public Good, and Lindsey Wilson College announce the 10th Annual Excellence in Entrepreneurship Collegiate Business Concept Challenge.

SOMERSET, Ky. (September 10, 2012) —

Fifteen small business owners, entrepreneurs, and non-profit organizations in Southern and Eastern Kentucky were recognized for their successful business accomplishments and helping grow the region’s economy at the 2012 Excellence in Entrepreneurship Awards (EIEA) program.

The EKU College of Business and Technology, The Center for Rural Development, the Kentucky Highlands Investment Corporation, Berea College Entrepreneurship for the Public Good, and Lindsey Wilson College announce the 9th Annual Excellence in Entrepreneurship Collegiate Business Concept Challenge.

Finalists in the 2011 Excellence in Entrepreneurship Awards (EIEA) program have been announced and will be recognized at the program’s 10^th anniversary awards luncheon—featuring special guest speaker U.S. Congressman Harold “Hal” Rogers (KY-05)—on September 12 at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset, Ky.

EKU’s Andrew Pennington wins Excellence in Entrepreneurship Collegiate Business Concept Challenge; other EKU students place in competition
